It’s happeneing. After weather delays, development delays and lots of other delays, we are thrilled to announce that it’s finally happening. The Gorges State Park campground is finally set to open in late summer or the fall. 

 This campground will provide more access to the park and we’re really looking forward to seeing what other enhancements the campground may bring. Hopefully as more adventurers discover the wonders of Gorges State Park, we’ll see state-supported projects to increase safe access to some more remote areas of the park. 

We can’t wait to use one of the 14 “Class A” RV sites with full hookups and picnic tables, 17 tent sites with concrete pads and picnic tables, five cabins. Some of the five cabins will be handicap accessible,  will sleep up to six people and will have electricity, heating and cooling. All will be near a large bath house facility with showers.
